Thin Hexagon Jam Nuts

Thin Hexagon Jam Nuts are six sided low profile internally threaded fasteners. Thin Metric Jam Nuts are threaded onto an external thread and tightened against another hexagon nut to lock the other nut in place. Thin Jam Nuts are used when it is not desirable to apply a clamping force on an object with a hexagon nut. Thin Metric Hexagon Jam Nuts can also be used to lock another nut in place on an external thread without applying any torque to the externally threaded component. Thin Jam Nuts can also be used in places where a standard height nut would not fit.
