Square Washers in Three Styles

Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. offers an array of steel, zinc plated Square Washers.  Square Washers are extremely effective in preventing rotation. MMCC square washers are designed to fit in restrictive areas that will not accommodate round washers.  Square washers are extremely durable and are commonly used in machinery and automotive applications.  Architectures often used square washers in building constructions because square washers will not fold and split during earthquakes.

Metric & Multistandard Square Washers come in three different styles:

• Din 436 Square Washer:  This square washer has no taper and is mainly used in wood construction.  Sizes range from nominal diameter M10 M30.
• Din 434 U Tapered Square Washer:  The U tapered washer has a 8% taper and is used in U beam construction.  Sizes range from nominal diameter M8 – M24.
• Din 435 I Tapered Square Washer:  The I tapered square washer has a 14% taper and is used in I beam construction.  Sizes range from nominal diameter M10 – M30.
