Spring Tension Pins
Spring Tension Pins are an unthreaded fastener that is used to lock two components together. They are also sometimes called Roll Pins or Slotted Spring Pins.
Metric Spring Tension Pins are hollow fasteners made from spring steel that have a slot. The diameter of the pin is intended larger than the hole in which it is inserted. As a Spring Tension Pin is pressed or hammered into a hole the slot is compressed and it exerts a spring force on the hole which locks the pin in place.
