Spiral Pins
Spiral Pins are a type of unthreaded fastener that is used to lock two components together. They are also sometimes called Coiled Spring Pins. Metric Spiral Pins are hollow spring steel fasteners made by rolling a metal strip into a coil. The diameter of the pin is intended to be larger than the hole of which it is inserted. As the pin is inserted the coils are compressed exerting a spring force against the hole to lock it in place.
