Sockets, Standard Depth, 12 Point
Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. supplies a variety of metric sockets and socket accessories. A socket is a hand tool attachment ratchet with an internal square drive on one end and a metric 12 point opening on the other that is used to turn a fastener with the use of a socket wrench. Metric sockets drive ends use the same size square drives that are used on inch sockets and therefore can be used on the same exact socket wrenches.
Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. offers 12 point standard depth sockets in 3/8”, 1/2”, and 3/4"drives that can accommodate metric fasteners with across flats dimensions from 10mm to 60mm.
12 Point Sockets will work on fasteners with square heads, hexagon heads, and external 12 point heads.
12 point sockets are typically thinner walled to fit into tighter recesses and the 12 point feature ads to the ability of turning the fastener where there are limited arc swing conditions.
MMCC 12 point sockets are made of high quality chrome vanadium steel and are chrome plated.
