DIN 1440 Metric Shaft Washers are round discs with round holes. Shaft Washers are used with unthreaded fasteners such as a shaft or clevis pin to provide a smooth bearing surface for a locking pin that holds it in place. DIN 1440 is similar to ISO 8738.
