Plug Gages

Plug Gages which are externally threaded inspection tools that are used to check the acceptability of a finished internal thread. Metric Plug Gages come in two piece sets often referred to as Go/No Go Plug Gage. The finished thread should accept the Go Gage. In most cases the No Go Gage should not enter the internal more than two threads from either end.

Thread Ring Gages

Thread Ring Gages are internally threaded inspection tools that are used to check the acceptability of a finished external thread. Metric Thread Ring Gages come in two piece sets often referred to as Go/No Go Ring Gage. The finished thread should accept the Go Gage. In most cases the No Go Gage should not go onto the external thread more than two threads.
