Partly Threaded Slotted Set Screws 427

Partly Threaded Slotted Set Screws are used for adjusting and/or clamping machine parts.  The slot allows for the use of a slotted screwdriver or slotted bit for tightening as opposed to using a hex key or hex bit for tightening socket set screws.  The unthreaded portion of a Din 427 is known as the “grip” length and offers the most resistance and best alignment in applications that require a lot of force to hold an object in place.

Metric & Multistandard supplies partly threaded slotted set screws in diameters of M3 to M10 and various lengths.  Partly threaded slotted set screws are made to Din 427/ISO 2342 standards and are available in low carbon steel.  Please inquire about brass and stainless steel.  As the oldest exclusively metric supplier in the U.S.; Metric & Multistandard has the knowledge and experience to assist you with all your metric fastener requirements.  Please contact any one of Metric’s 5 nationwide locations and speak to a sales representative for more information on Partly Threaded Slotted Set Screws.
