Internal Snap Rings
Metric Internal Snap Rings are a type of retaining ring which is used in housings that have a rounded groove cut in them.
DIN 7993B Internal Snap Rings are semi-circular round spring wires that when property installed a part of the ring will remain exposed outside of the groove and act as a lip to hold an assembly in place. The opening of the ring allows the ring to be compressed so it can be pressed into a round hole once in place the ring will seat itself in the rounded groove.
