Metric Hex Key Wrenches & Sets
Hex Keys are tools used for turning fasteners with an internal hexagon socket.
Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. has several different styles of hex keys available: Regular Hex Keys, Long Arm Hex Keys, Ball End Hex Key, Hex Key with guide for use with DIN 6912, T – Handle Hex Key, and Straight Hex Keys with Handle. Metric & Multistandard also has many different sets of hex keys available. Metric’s sets of hex keys are comprised of several sizes either in a hard case or a plastic pouch. If you prefer Metric & Multistandard also has folding key sets available where all the key sizes fold up into the handle for easy storage.
Metric & Multistandard Components Corp. also offers Fluted, Spline and TORX key wrenches. Similar to hex key wrenches these different types of keyed wrenches are used to drive fasteners that have an internal socket. These keys are intended for use with each type of internal socket and should not be interchanged. Fluted Drive Screws are often used in high torque applications. Spline and TORX drive screws provide greater torque transfer between the tool and the screw and less tool fatigue, they are often used in assemble lines.
