Copper Tubing

Copper tubing is used in many applications where flexibility and corrosion resistance are important. It is used for hydraulic and other fluids. Metric & Multistandard carries copper tubing in both seamless drawn soft copper in rolls and in seamless drawn hard copper in straight pieces. The copper rolls come in 50 meter coils for sizes up to 15mm outside diameter and 25 meter coils for sizes 18mm outside diameter and above. The hard copper tubing is normally supplied in three meter lengths.

Seamless Copper Tubing Sizes

Metric & Multistandard offers both types of tubing in shorter lengths. The soft copper tubing can be cut into shorter lengths, but the price per meter is higher than if a full roll is purchased. The hard copper tubing can be cut into one or two meter lengths at no additional charge to facilitate shipping or the customer’s requirements, as long as full 3-meter pieces are purchased.

Copper tubing is often used with brass hydraulic fittings. Metric & Multistandard can supply numerous types of brass compression fittings by special order. Our sister company in Germany, MCG Metric Components GMBH, can readily source these for us from Europe.
