American Form Wing Nuts
Wing Nuts are internally threaded fasteners that have two ears (or wings) projecting from it that allows it to be turned easily by hand. Metric Wing nuts are for use in low torque applications where frequent removal of the nut may be required.
Wing Nuts are commonly available in two different forms. The differences between the two forms are how the wing nuts are manufactured and the size and shape of the ears.
