Socket Wrench Accessories

At Metric & Multistandard Components Corp., we supply a variety of metric sockets and socket accessories as individual items and in socket tool sets. Socket Types from Metric & Multistandard

Standard and Deep Metric Sockets

Sockets are available with either a 6- or 12-point female recess that fits over the head of a bolt or nut. A 6-point socket will only fit on a hexagon-shaped head. A 12-point socket will fit on a hexagonal or a 12-point head. Metric sockets are generally available in standard or deep depths. Deep sockets are used to turn nuts that are not reachable with a standard depth socket. Sockets are intended to be used with a hand-powered socket wrench unless specifically designed to be used with a power drive tool, such as impact drive and power driver sockets.
Our selection of metric sockets includes: Socket drives are available in the following sizes: 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4", 1”, 1-1/2”, and 2-1/2”.

Hex Bit and Torx® Bit Sockets

In addition to sockets, male drive bits like hex bits and Torx® bits can be used with socket wrenches. These specialized tools feature precision-machined bits (hex or Torx) secured in a standard socket body. This allows them to be used with socket wrenches on fasteners with an internal drive socket. We offer various hex, Torx, and fluted bits as individual items and in sets:
